The Bryn Mawr Hospital Thrift Shop is located directly across the street from the Hospital at 804 County Line Road in Bryn Mawr, Pa. The Thrift Shop offers clothing, furniture and bric-a-brac. Proceeds benefit programs and services for Bryn Mawr Hospital patients.

If you are on a belt tighten budget like me, and you like nice items as far as clothes (designer), slightly  used  and used furniture (nice used mahogany partner desks on half off day $40.00), dishes (china), rugs (Persian), bric-a-brac, costume jewelry, etc.  Then the Bryn Mawr Hospital Thrift shop is the place to go to.  They have some of the nicest and really great quality stuff of all kinds.  Great for students, couples just starting out, or if you just want to change your surrounding for something new.

Go you will be pleasantly surprised.  But go early, because a lot of people will put some items on" hold" and the have 24 hours or so to think about buying the item on hold.  Also, each week a certain color price ticket goes on sale for 50% off.  The price ticket is usually taped inside the front door, or just ask the person at the counter.  I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

This store has a lot of previously used furniture and will sell it at reasonable (student) prices, and  all for a worthy cause- African People's Education and Defense Fund.
What I love about this site is that it updates it's inventory daily.  So, if there is an item that you really like and want you will have to act fast.
